About RoadSage

RoadSage is a UK property data platform that brings together listings, house prices, postcodes and rental prices in one place.

What we do

We help you explore comprehensive UK property data — from Land Registry sold prices and Rightmove listings to postcode lookups and ONS rental indices. Whether you're researching an area, comparing sold prices or checking rental values, RoadSage is built for exploration and research.

Data is updated regularly and presented in a clear, dashboard-style interface so you can find what you need quickly.

Frequently asked questions

How often is property data updated?
Listing data is synced daily from major property portals, so current and recently sold listings are kept up to date. HM Land Registry Price Paid Data is updated monthly when new data is published (typically a few weeks after completions). ONS rental price indices are updated when the Office for National Statistics releases new figures. We refresh our datasets as soon as new sources are available.
What data sources does RoadSage use?
We use HM Land Registry Price Paid Data for sold prices in England and Wales (Crown copyright); listing data from major property portals; ONS rental price indices and related statistics; and official postcode and geography data for areas and locations. Where data is under the Open Government Licence, we comply with its terms and attribute appropriately.
What areas does RoadSage cover?
Land Registry sold prices cover England and Wales. Listing data and postcode lookups extend across the UK. Rental price indices from the ONS are available at national and regional level. Coverage for specific features is shown on the relevant pages (e.g. House Prices, Postcodes, Rental Prices).
I found incorrect data for a property
We take data accuracy seriously. Please use our contact form and select "Data correction" as the topic. Include the postcode or listing ID (and a short description if helpful) so we can investigate. We aim to respond within 1–2 working days and will let you know the outcome.
Why is a listing missing or shown as no longer on market?
Listing data is supplied by property portals; we update status when we receive it from them. If a property has been sold or withdrawn, it may appear as "No longer on market" after the next sync. There can be a short delay between a change on the portal and our update. Historic listings are retained so you can still view past sale and listing information.
Is the RoadSage API available?
We are developing a public API for developers and integrators. Register for an account and we will notify you when it launches. If you have a specific use case or partnership in mind, get in touch via the contact form and select "API / developer" as the topic.
Is RoadSage free to use?
You can explore property data, house prices, postcodes and rental insights without paying. Some features may require a free account (e.g. to save searches or receive API updates). We do not put basic lookups behind a paywall. Any future premium or commercial use will be clearly signposted.
